Liss Cricket Club is situated in East Hampshire with a picturesque setting of the privately owned Glebe ground. Since 2010 the club has been rebuilding and last season they won Hampshire Regional Division 3 North East. The club currently runs 1 Saturday league team, 1 Sunday friendly team and a midweek team participating in evening competitions. Liss are also starting to rebuild the youth set-up. The U-11 side had a lot more success in 2011 and with a stronger coaching structure this year they are really looking to push on. This youth developement has helped see a significant rise in onfield success over the past few years.
The First XI are now competeing in the Hampshire Regional Division 2 North East. Packed full of youth, talent and returning experience from 2011, the new 1st team are looking for another major promotion push over the next season.
The Sunday team play a mixture of teams over the season, competing against teams from a various standard of cricket. Always full of fun and laughs but with a positive outlook on still winning the game. Sundays are an integrall part of Liss Cricket Club where any new players wanting to play are always very welcome.
