Welcome to the Liss Cricket Club Website
Liss Cricket Club is situated in East Hampshire with a picturesque setting of the privately owned Glebe ground. In 2009 the 1st team won the Hampshire County division 1 undefeated, which is the highest level of league cricket reached by any Liss team. Unfortunatley the 1st team was disbanded in 2010. Liss are now beginning to rebuild the club and get back the status they enjoyed last year in the North-East Hampshire Regional Division 3.The club currently runs 1 Saturday league team, 1 Sunday friendly team, a midweek team participating in evening competitions, an under 15's youth team and an under 11's youth team. This youth developement has helped see a significant rise in onfield success over the past few years.
The First XI currently compete in the Hampshire Regional Division 3 North East, after unfortunately having to disband our original 1st team due to unforeseen circumstances. Packed full of youth, talent and experience for 2010, the new 1st team are looking for a major promotion push over the next season.
The Sunday team play a mixture of teams over the season, competing against teams from a various standard of cricket. Always full of fun and laughs but with a positive outlook on still winning the game. Sundays are an integrall part of Liss Cricket Club where any new players wanting to play are always very welcome.
